Show me a screenshot of ANY PCSX2 version with 'SSE options'. If you want, also circle them with purple colored circles so we understand what the heck you mean by 'SSE options'.

Uh.... you don't mean these do you? Cause they were never in the CPU options and they're not a toggle...

So you confused the 3 different GSdx plugins with SSE toggles.
Shows how much you need help setting up your computer.
Best if you asked a friend that knows how to work this to come over and help you.

/facepalm.
Its because that you limit the fps to 45 instead of normal speed which is 50 for pal and 60 for ntsc.

Not true...because in 1888 the fps is 45 and it runs perfectly and the sound is smooth as silk.

This is again a plugin difference.
My bet is that you were using peops spu2 with 1888, which has a (game breaking) async mix mode.
We didn't include that plugin in 0.9.7, as it is totally outdated by now and has various issues.

Anyway, go to SPU2-X's config and enable async mixing there. Should prolly "restore" your 1888 experience.
Keep in mind though that it causes issues, from mild to game breaking.

xcyper33 u are not correct at all man, or u are a little boy who thiks he knows everything, pal games are runing on 50 fps and ntsc on 60 fps, so if u played your ff12 on 45 than u played it slow but u think its perfect, so better listen to this nice folks here on the forums if u want help cause they know much more than u do. if u chek everywhere else u will see that sony 2 games are on 50 fps for pal and 60 fps for ntsc. and btw 0.9.7 is easier for use and faster than r1888.
