80% speed, almost there...

I'm trying to play Kingdom Hearts 2 Final Mix with a decent resolution. Just native is playable and gives me 100%, but as soon as i turn that up to x2 it lowers to 80% and isn't playable. I'll paste my specs, unfortunately I'm on a laptop. All I would like is full speed on x2, nothing too fancy. Can I do anything about it?

Processor: Intel i7 2670QM CPU 2.20GHz 
RAM: 6.00GB
System: Windows 10, 64 bit
Graphics Card: NVIDIA GeForce 610M

make sure you aren't running on batteries, and set windows power plan to performance mode.
apart from this, tinker with speedhacks and pray...

I put a custom resolution to try and hit the sweet spot, and it seems to work well at 730x730, at least looking better than native. Don't know if that's even a correct resolution though. Are those values fine as long as they work for me?

They are OK, but ideally you should use a power of two.
