A problem with FFX graphics.
The only problem I've occurred so far is when I'm in Besaid Village and I enter Wakka's hut (house/whatever) I am shown a black screen but the audio continues, I am unable to press any buttons or hotkeys when it's like this.

Something I did notice is that it changes from "Interlaced (field)" when I'm outside to "Progressive (field)" when I'm inside and that only occurs when I enter that specific hut. [See attached screenshots]

Things I've tried changing:

Round mode
Clamping Mode
Using synchronised MTGS
Disabling Speedhacks
Disable cheats
Graphics renderer (i.e. from hardware to software)
Resolution and scaling.

All to no avail so any help would be nice. Smile

P.s. I was thinking of taking the iso from my game disk again but wasn't sure if that would make any difference.

RE: A problem with FFX graphics.
I would except that it would need multiple posts to post it or 6 attachments. (I take it this isn't a good sign?) Tongue

[[Update - I have tried taking the ISO again (using imgburn) from the game disk and it still has the same problems.]]

looks like you are loading from a savestate.
Start from memcard and see if it happens again.

That was the result with clamping mode set to maximum. I've tried it with normal, full, and extra + preserve sign.

Tried with a save from memcard and it did the same thing. Only reason I was using savestates was so it was easier for me to see if anything changed after changing some of the settings.

RE: A problem with FFX graphics.
cpuTlbMiss is caused by a disk read error in most cases.
try recreating the ISO of your gamedisk.

edit: oh sorry I missed that you already did that.
u sure your disk is original, clean and scratchless?

RE: A problem with FFX graphics.
Default should work fine.

I don't think its a graphics bug because TLB error generally refers to a bad Disk. Play the Game on PS2 and see if you can cross that area.
