I felt like we needed a tread for the new AMD Catalyst Omega Drivers. How has the new drivers helped you run pcsx2? Post your feedback below.

I am also curious how the new drivers might affect the development of pcsx2 if at all.

i don't think there will be much difference in emulation. but, you can expect more improvements in pc games. probably, it will best if they don't cause some problem like nvidia drivers in pcsx2 Tongue

yeah nvidia new drivers have some stretching issues.
Core i3 9100f 3.6Ghz
RAM=8GB
nvidia GT 1030
pcsx2 version-1.3.1

But if you happen to use hardware mode which uses the gpu shouldn't it improve performance during emulation?

I'm curious to know whether OpenCL 2.0 lead to any big improvement with our experimental OCL renderer (I would test myself if only I hadn't a 5770)

Not sure. I know Amd put up some videos explaining some of the changes they made to the drivers and to me atleast some of the improvements seemed oriented towards developers. Not sure if it applys to pcsx2 though. Heres one of the vids.
