AMD Fusion Platforms C- E- A- series APUs

I think AMD's new APUs are quite spiffy. Smile

For what they are, of course.
No way you'll be running the heaviest games, unless you've got like 4Ghz (not happening in a netbook).

Athlon64's with an embedded gpu?

No, they're better than that old crap.

They use a tweaked vers of the same arch as the Athlon II (or Phenom II).
Basically, it's the best AMD has to offer... (clock-for-clock)

And the better of their IGPs actually seem fairly decent.
128-bit DDR3-1866 (29.9GB/s memory bandwidth).
Should be enough to handle the majority of PS2 emulation, mostly at low res.

if killing all background noise programs and coding out to GUI to a fixed set I'd expect the A4-3330MX @ 1333 mem to run DMC fluid 60 - 2x scaled if the EE and GS portion are run good efficient on 1 and the MTVU on the second thread.

The HD 6480G (1333Mhz) only has ~17GB/s bandwidth.

Might be pushing it at 2x scaling.

I know. I have 12.5 and did the 2x. It fell to 45 at the bosses. Laugh native is good there. still my processor suffers from low clockrate and sync sometimes. not even 100% sure that dual 2.2 might work. but tweaking all out it should run atleast the VU1 really nice. EE, Sound and GS need a nifty full "hardware" solution to keep it in one thread. mmmh.
