AMD with SSE5?
#1
The Official Guide (and it's Wiki links) state that only Intel exceeds SSE2, but I found this at what I thought was a good/reliable site. Can someone here confirm this? Also, when did SSE5 come along!? Blink

along with the new instructions by intel

everything is in the link

edit: also this is intel's new instructions that will be supported in Windows 7 sp1 and Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1

Awesome. Thanks for clearing that up, iakoboss7. Smile All the details!

So, AMD will not have SSE5 even on their future "Bulldozer" lineup, but their own variation/alternative (3 actually).

AMD is making Bulldozers. lol
