APPCRASH
#1
I've been using pcsx2 for a while, but never had these issues and I have tried everything I could think of. I think it started with the latest version and have persisted with a windows reinstall (which I did because my ssd died and got replaced)

Once I get ingame I have maybe 10-30 minutes till I get an APPCRASH. The PCSX2 log shows no details about the crash.

Faulting application name: pcsx2-r5875.exe, version: 0.0.0.0, time stamp: 0x52ef990f
Faulting module name: pcsx2-r5875.exe, version: 0.0.0.0, time stamp: 0x52ef990f

Report Id: c9d1fa16-fb51-11e3-835e-bc5ff4556f48

I've searched the forums and found related issues but nothing has helped.

I'm running pcsx2 1.2.1. My computer specs are in an attachment.

I have tried these settings.

Software and Hardware mode in both DX9 and DX11, all crash
No speedhacks/cheats enabled
still crashes when null drivers are selected for both video and audio
disabled crossfire and still crashed
my temps are fine, highest my gpu got was 60C and the highest my CPU got was 50C
I also reinstalled pcsx2 and no success

I mean I could go through and screenshot every menu but I don't think that's the issue.

I've tried Persona 3:FES, Shadow of the Colossus, Sly Cooper, and Katamari Damacy and all shared the same issue. Running ISOs.

I have no idea what the problem is but I'd figure I'd come and ask before I give up.

Tomorrow I'm going to run it in safe mode and see if it crashes.

It's weird indeed. I don't know what to tell you, maybe someone else has an idea.

Still crashing.

I'm at a total loss here. Maybe older versions of pcsx2 will work.

I looked up the 0x80000003 code and it could be MSVC++ possibly. Try uninstall/reinstall the VC Redist.

No luck there, I'm afraid. I don't think I can reinstall directx but I doublechecked that the latest was installed, and it was.

The only other thing I can think of is interference from another application or maybe truecrypt encryption. I think it's doubtful.

The hardest thing for me to accept is that this survived a complete windows 7 reinstall. Maybe I should try integrated graphics.

Actually, I just realized that the EE/iR5900-32 Recompiler resets during every crash. Does anyone have any info on this?

My hard drive is Truecrypt encrypted, and I don't have this problem. So it's not that.
