Ace Combat 4 (PAL) : Another case of "ELF does not have a path"
#1
Greetings everyone,

I'm trying to obtain the ELF number for a game (Ace Combat : Distant Thunder (PAL version of Shattered Skies)) in order to submit a compatibility request. When I check the console logs, though, the game's CRC appears, but I have a "ELF does not have a path" message.

I try to launch the game from my computer's CD reader via a retail copy of the game.

Below is the console log :

Elf number? From the log it's, SCES_504.10;1 with a CRC of 1B9B7563 unless I completely fail at the meaning of an ELF number Smile

No problem about the CRC, but if I understood well how the emulator works, shouldn't the ELF number be composed of just 5 numbers, without dots or anything ?

Anyway, I'm trying ImgBurn (from what I lsaw by lurking, it's the best tool for the job) now. I'll keep you posted about the results.

Apologies for the double post, but I run into the same problem with a ImgBurn ISO of the game burned on a DVD. Log's the same.

(Fun fact : Googling this problem shows my own thread)

EDIT : Please punch me in the face, Koji was right. I tried with another game and the number SCES number INDEED changed. I'm SO sorry for bothering you guys.
