Additional information about fps2bios
#1
I first noticed this around when it started showing up in the source tree (2004?)
and I realize that it has never been compiled with PCSX2 (though it is checked out when compiling from SVN) I presume that this is because it would require the PS2 development toolchain to compile, instead of just a regular x86 compilation environment. Am I correct in assuming this?
Also, has anyone successfully compiled it recently, and if so how well does it work?

It doesn't provide enough modules to work as a BIOS. The best it can do is register as a valid BIOS image in PCSX2's GUI.

If it is what I'm thinking (an open source bios), then no and that's exactly the point Wink However, reverse engineering that, I imagine, is an absolute pain. Don't think the PS1 even had something similar made.
