Amplitude crashing/game isn't loading.
#1
Ok, so I'm trying to get Amplitude working. I've burned it into an ISO with IMGBurn and I have it all working. It boots, I see the BIOS screen, then "Playstation 2" and hear the audio (the digital woop noise) at the start of the game, then the loading screen comes up and it freezes. Then I get spammed with "EE pc:00299B88) TLB Miss, addr=0x78 [store]" in the log or something about an ELF load for eternity until the game state is terminated or the program itself crashes. There is no report when it crashes either, it just says "a problem happened that caused this program to crash". Very unspecific. All my drivers are up to date, I'm using the latest version of the program, and I installed all the necessary support programs when I installed PCSX2. The weird thing is, Frequency works just fine and I can play it. But Amplitude fails miserably. I tried it both from disc, and burned to ISO and I get the same errors/problems.

My current CPU config is as follows:

Windows 10 Home 64 bit
GeForce GTX Titan X
Intel Core i7-4790K @ 4.00GHz
32 GB DDR3 RAM
256GB SSD

Are you using cheats? If yes, then disable cheats. Otherwise try using your original cd to play it.

As it says here you need to use full boot for the game to load. But as you are doing that i'm confused. You must have some speedhacks or gamefixes enabled, or cheats as KTT said.

I am not using cheats. I made sure the checkbox was disabled. I am also not using speed hacks or gamefixes and have double checked to make sure they are off. I tried running from my original disc, same thing keeps happening as with the ISO. Mass spam about load and store:

And that's that. Frequency still works fine, except I'm getting audio and video lag while playing which makes it somewhat harder to hit nodes. Other than that, works perfectly. I'm pretty confused as well.

Yes. Flawlessly. Disc is also in great condition, no scratching or damage. I try to take care of the classics Laugh
No, I didn't receive any errors.
Yes, I used IMGburn.

Go Config / Emulation Settings / Game Fixes and Enable Gamefix and have fun !
