Another "Can my computer run it thread". Help a Noob out. ;/

Hey guys/Girls, I'm new to the boards here. I've always wanted to run a ps2 emulator but I've always had the most underhanded and pathetic hardware imaginable.

But recently I got a new computer, so, I'm wondering, If my PC specs are enough to run the psx2 emulator, specifically on older smackdown games such as "here comes the pain" or "shut your mouth"

My Pc Specs are as follows: (May be upgrading a few components soon also).

Intel Core 2 Quad CPU 8200 at 2.33ghz

3GB of system Ram

Nvidea 9500 Geforce at 512 Video Ram.

Also, running XP at the moment. I'm aware vista can run certain software negatively compared to Xp so I just threw that out there to see if it applied here.

Thanks for any help on this.

9500GT's a slow pathetic "gaming" card. But it'll do ok

Get the quad to 3.4GHZ if you can.
AMD Phenom II 940 @ 3.6GHZ, 4GB PC8500 @ 1100MHZ, 4870x2 @ Stock.

running 2.2 8600GT, getting 60fps on God Of War on DX10, Vista has it's upsides on that front. I'm looking forward to Win7, I'm going to have to get ultimate for Virtual XP on it though Angry they have made some major improvements on it, and I'm looking forward to it, for the first time since I heard of it coming. Vista has some issues with certain programs, sure, but name 1, I haven't found one yet.
