Any news about the mip mapping issue?

Hey guys.
I know its extremely hard for the developers to fix the mip mapping issue in the current pcsx2 state.
I just wanted to know since the new update, if there are plans for fixes coming to us for games like Ratchet and clank series or jack and dexter mip mapping issues and better textures.

We recently started an "Issue" on Github relating to this, but there is no plan to fix it very soon, it depends how gregory feels, how feasable it is and what way the wind is blowing at the time Smile

I still dont know how gregory has not gone insane yet, from all he is doing for gsdx and pcsx2, it almost like he is possessed Blink

We seen more progression in OpenGL in year or 2 he been at it then we seen in DX in all the years before combined I think we should all send gregory thank you cookies Biggrin

One day Gabest will get that urge to doing DX 12.

im not sure there actual progress reports on github other then in specific open threads. there are quarterly reports done that is post in forums and main page of pcsx2

I'm completely crazy now. My eyes are like the one in Jak&Daxter Tongue2 I will soon go into rampage against PS2 game developers %-)

So far the status is to do a summary of the current situation. Nothing more. Don't expect any mipmapping improvement this year.
