When I try to start Pcsx2 1.4 it displays an error saying that API-MS-WIN-RUNTIME is missing from my computer and I could really use some assistance!
Now before anyone posts anything, yes, I have repaired/reinstalled my C++ Visual studios and all that. No luck there so don't bother with that unless you can
explain to me how to fix that.
Thank you!

I believe this is related to a bad install of of the VS2015 runtimes.

Which version of VC++ 2015 redist did you install...x86 or x64
When I run pcsx2 and check the modules with Process Hacker,it seems pcsx2 load the file api-ms-win-crt-runtime-l1-1-0.dll from the C:\Windows\SysWOW64 folder
It probably depends on what windows version you are using...x64 or x86

Updated info.
Turns out only the VC++ 2015 x86 redist package is required after all.
Issue was most likely result of user error or improper os install.
