I'm already using software rendering in all my games and I am most impressed with the accuracy of the software renderer but the shadows in the Jak games have always bothered me since it's such a popular PS2 series and also happens to be the only flaw I've come across using the software renderer. I am wondering if this is being worked on.

If I remember correctly, those bugs could get patched nearly instantly but it would mean decrease of speed in that game at a rate of 90% plus the whole PCSX2 quality experience of atleast like 50% percent and only a major rewrite would fix it but again then it would cause other issues.
It needs muuuch brainstorming to fix slowly that issue without breaking something lese which means some other slower steps developers doing at the momment.
