Have you tried to run the game in software mode?
OS: Linux Mint 17.2 64 bit (occasional Antergos/Arch user)
(I am no longer a Windows user)
CPU: Intel Pentium G3258
GPU: Nvidia GTX 650 Ti

Maybe you just got turned around somewhere. Follow this link...

PCSX2-r5725

Click the "Download" link in the bottom. You may need to install the Visual C++ 2010 package mention on that page, if not already installed on your computer. It won't run without it.

That link is to the same download/files/program that image came from, BTW. And using the discrete GPU will most likely be better than the Intel, unless a very low-end GeForce unit was used.
