Sure you can store the settings for each game;3 best to use a frontend like PS2Lunch and have it easy.

Also maybe it's not a case on your current cpu, but Xenosaga I is often faster at software mode;3, couse most of it's slowness is hardware based. You can switch to software and back to hardware with F9 key, I pretty much had to play it like that as my HD5670 wasn't enough for the job during many cutscenes and gear fights, while software ran it at full speed without much deal even through I have amd cpu.;3

Edit: aw I had it opened for too long xD anyway software is still worth trying for the slowdown, xenosaga slowness is visible mostly in the hardware rendering.
