BIOS/Memcards
#1
2 things.

Firstly, when I load my BIOS up, it goes through the SCE presents screen and then freezes. Could this be a problem with my BIOS?

Secondly, I keep getting the errors 'Failed loading MemoryCard from file: memcards/Mcd001.ps2 and Mcd002.ps2'. How do I fix this?

1.BIOS - Which BIOS version,pcsx2 version and what plugins are you using?
2.Memcards - Are they in the correct folder, are you running pcsx2 as administrator?

run pcsx2 as admin, and make sure you installed in an admin rights-free folder (i.e my docs)
CPU : AMD Ryzen 7 3800X
Mobo : Asus PRIME B450-PLUS
GPU : NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070
RAM : 16 Go

BIOS Version: USA v02.00 (14/06/2004) Console
PCSX Version: 0.9.6
Plug-ins - GSdx 890 SSE2 version, ZeroSPU2, LilyPad 0.9.9, GHz CDVD 0.7.0, DEV9null driver 0.3.0, USBnull driver 0.5.0 and FWnull driver 0.4.0

As for where it is installed, it's in the Program Files area. If I relocate the entirety of the folder, will it still run or will I have to re-download and re-install it to a different area?

Its best if you reinstall PCSX2 and make sure the settings files are in My Documents folder

Okay.

It seems to work better now.
Thanks.

The FPS is slightly low but I'll fiddle around with my settings to see what works better.

EDIT: How do I load ISO files using PCSX2?

Use Linuz ISO...specify the ISO file and set CDVD ---> Plugin...and you're rdy to go!

Thanks.

It went from 60 FPS on the loading screen to 30 ingame.

I'm not sure if it's just Final Fantasy X that's causing the slow-down.

Gonna check other games.

EDIT: Ratchet and Clank 2 runs at 5 fps and then freezes at the Main Menu.
