It's absolutely the same.

Though laptop parts are usually more expensive and fall behind their desktop brothers in terms of performance, but this gap is shortened each and every day.

A laptop with a GTX 280? No way. Screen shots or it didn't happen Tongue. I have a GTX 280, and I know that thing is HUGE! Can hardly fit in my case, let a lone a laptop.

yes it is the same in terms of upgrading or playing games. When will people who voice their pro opinions learn to read I wonder. How much it costs is a different matter not related to the actual process.

Well isn't replacing a GPU on a Laptop completely different then changing on a Desktop? Anyone, can crack open their case and pop in a new card. But getting inside a laptop is a different story*.

*I have little to none knowledge on customizing a laptop, so I may be wrong.

It's completly different.. You're talking about the laptop's with the PCI-E designed for laptop, correct? Not all laptop's allow for this.. So no.. it's not the same.
