Baroque: Game Will Not Load
#1
When I try to play Baroque, a black screen comes up. The screen remains black. I get no audio.

Other games do not experience this problem.

Please post emulog.txt from PCSX2/logs for portable, or My Documents/PCSX2/logs for install. Please post the log after the black screen happens.

emulog.txt attached.

By the way, I don't know what you mean by "portable" vs. "install".

I'll note that the emuLog says that it was last modified on 11/2/2013, so I'm not sure it actually updates based on what game I'm playing.

By portable vs install I meant:

Portable: You downloaded a zip file containing a binary exe and put it wherever you want

Install: You ran the PCSX2 1.0.0 installer and installed to C:\Program Files\

Disable MTVU if its enabled otherwise you will get nothing but a black screen with this game.

Problem solved. Topken's advice - disabling MTVU - corrected the problem.

Thank you all for your help. Your swift replies impressed me. Biggrin

For the sake of completeness, in case there's anything else I should know, I've addressed the other points below...

Intel Core i7 CPU 957 @ 3.07GHz

Ah, in my case, I ran the installer, but I chose its location. So, that explains why it seemed like my Log was out of date. I was looking at the wrong one.

Attached is the correct emuLog.

I should have known this.

This game is on my list of games that are broken with MTVU:
