Best Config for my system/Random FPS drops
#1
Guys I've been getting random drops on every game every 5-10 seconds interval while I'm playing, It's playable but I'm getting annoyed with the drops. any tips on what config I should use? and what version of the graphics plugin I should use? I'm currently using GSdx AVX2 and I'm playing on 1080p. If you guys are wondering my specs are:

i7 4790k
Msi gtx 970
8GB ram 1600 mhz
Windows 8.1

I've been playing mostly RPG games like final fantasy X, final fantasy XII, Persona 4, Tales of the abyss etc. all on ISO

I'm also using PCSX2 1.2.1

You should :
- Oc you cpu till 4,5ghz mini, its easy on a 4790k and it will still be better.
- Stay at res x4/x5 without MSAA, you don't really need it at this reso.
- Post your pcsx2 settings (video, speedhacks..)
Personnaly I use AVX and its good.

Yep x6 with MSAAx16 is way too much, lol.
Go x4 without AA, put x5 if you can, you will see.
You can enable MTVU mutithreaded.

disable HW hacks and FXAA and reduce the internal resolution to something like 4X (or) 5X. also, enable speedhacks and the MTVU hack.
