Best Plugin for PS3 Controller
#1
In the past I have never had great success with this but as usual I want to try again.

My problems from the past is that I was either stuck with JUST analog sticks or JUST the DPAD. But with PS2 games that doesn't always work. I have my Dragon Ball Z Budokai Tenkaichi 3 disk that I am going to use but that game required BOTH the dpad and analog at the same time.

I can't figure out the best way to achieve this. What plugins can you guys recommend? Since I lost my AC adapter I can't use my PS2 until I buy another.

tl;dr: What's the best plugin to use the DPAD and ANALOG sticks in unison like a real PS2 Game/controller.

So the default will allow me to use the analog and dpad at the same time?

as long as you bind the controls, then yes.

I saw an option called "Bind" but it didn't seem to do anything.

You are messing up by using Motioninjoy. That's why you can't use both at once. Also Motioninjoy is spyware. Use http://forums.pcsx2.net/Thread-XInput-Wr...Controller

I just now removed the motionjoy drivers. Also I looked at that xinput before and it seems like it requires a bluetooth dongle which I do not have.

EDIT: I have successfuly installed XINPUT so should I be all set?

^ It does not. You can use it with a USB cable just fine. The dongle is just if you want wireless. I use my DS3 with the SC drivers and a cable just fine.

As long as you followed the directions right, and installed the X360 controller drivers first(these are needed, as the driver "wraps" the PS3 controller and makes it look like a 360 controller on the driver level.)

Also you will need to clear your old bindings in lilypad and redo them.
