I'm using a DS3 controller with SCP + lilypad pcsx2 plugin.

The best way to get proper ps2 controller feel, I suggest you invest in a used ds3 or even a new one.

Isn't using a genuine ps2 controller the best way to get a proper ps2 controller feel?

Just sayin'

Anyway, you can find DS2 to USB controller adapters everywhere for a penny, so it's a matter of how much do you want to spend on it.

Some of the really cheap ones can be as good as better than the expensive ones. Unless they're clearly branded, you can't really tell. I bought a really cheap brandless one online, and it works perfectly.
