Best settings for my comp?

I'm having a hard time understanding what settings to use in pcsx2 from the guide. Could anyone help me in configuring them?

I've got a 3.0 GHz quad core cpu,

please read that guide again and try that program first, that program is not so hard/dificult to understand and configuration it.
