Bios path and game launching problems
#1
I have 2 major problem using pcsx2 :

First of all, each time I quit and reopen pcsx2, the bios file gets changed like : from
Code:
Desktop/PS2/bios
to
Code:
Desktop/PS2/bios/PS2
and gives the error that the folder cannot be found.

Second, when I try to play a game from an original CD, the emulator crashes without being able to load with the error:

Code:
Offset 0xee503290 invalid. Legit SIGSEGV. Aborting.
pcsx2.sh: line 2: 51217 Segmentation fault: 11  ./pcsx2

Why do those happens and how can I fix them?

Thanks

I suggest you try to run a chmod -R 755 command on your pcsx2 dir.
FYI, pcsx2 for mac is unable to run games from they original physical support. You'll have to dump isos from your ps2 dvds to make them work.

Thanks for your answer. I run the chmod -R 755 command on my Applications folder, where the pcsx2 app stands but I still have the same problem about the bios directory.
