I reinstalled both versions I currently had, one was a ported version from the list you gave me, other was from the install. and for ***** and gigs i tried another mgs2. tried it on the non ported and same thing. Log is pretty much this Manual block @ 800761BC : size = 5 page/offs = 0x00076/0x1BC inpgsz = 20 clearcnt = 1 Manual block @ 80076200 : size = 2 page/offs = 0x00076/0x200 inpgsz = 8 clearcnt = 1 Manual block @ 80076208 : size = 4 page/offs = 0x00076/0x208 inpgsz = 16 clearcnt = 1 Manual block @ 80076058 : size = 15 page/offs = 0x00076/0x058 inpgsz = 60 clearcnt = 1 Manual block @ 80076130 : size = 11 page/offs = 0x00076/0x130 inpgsz = 44 clearcnt = 1 Manual block @ 80076218 : size = 21 page/offs = 0x00076/0x218 inpgsz = 84 clearcnt = 1 but repeated over and over again then I tried with the ported version and no more black screen. log is attached. So I guess I fixed the black screen?

Anyway, it looks like either a bad disc, a bad drive or a bad rip at this point. (12-13-2013, 06:42 AM)lllooo222 Wrote: and for ***** and gigs i dled another iso of mgs2. According to the compatibility list, the NTSC version of MGS2 is only compatible since 1.1.0 So that would explain why switching to the new version made the difference.
