[Bug Report] Console/plugin for Persona 4
#1
Greetings,

Even though this is my first time posting on this forum, I hope I will get some constructive help and might start a discussion about this.
Since the problem seems to be mine alone, considering the people i've talked to that also uses the playground emulator, but successfully.

Here is a picture displaying the problem for the game I want to play, Persona 4. I've tried replacing the plugins several times, changed the directorys, downloaded them from the internet again, but it just won't work. Which makes it even more weird because a friend does the same thing, and his emulator will recognize the GS plugin.

So you guys are my last resort.
Thank you in advance.

But what is you problem? dll name and plugin name is different thing. Gsdx9sse2.dll is GSDX 872. Everything seems to be fine. Check plugins directory button if you think that pcsx2 found different set of plugins.

P.S. ZeroGS seems to provide better picture for P4.

Actually, no, the ones in my GS plugin configure, are these http://i40.tinypic.com/i2py8g.jpg
If you look closely, they are different versions.
They're not the same. ZeroGS won't be recognized either.

Looks like some old plugins? Wipe your plugin folder clean, then download the latest GSdx and ZeroGS from here: http://www.pcsx2.net/downloads.php?p=plgn
Then,download the November 2008 DirectX update and install it ( http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/detai...20f1244a8e&DisplayLang=en )

Hummm, well, I got it working now. Thanks. Now, it crashes after 4 seconds, apparently it goes way too fast, even though I've set my FPS limits etc accordingly to a tutorial.

your problem is you do not have the correct directx dll's to run the older version. Im assuming you just copied the ones that came with the new gsdx, these however wont work the older version. The best thing you can do is update your directx properly using the webupdate on the microsoft site, that should get the old plugin working.

PS: Error 126 means Linked DLL not found Tongue
