There´s no solution for that bug, GOW I PAL Version will hang after the sirens battle, just try to grab a NTSC version (at your local game shop).

Mine is NTSC and hangs at the part that I have to talk with the woman that runs from kratos.

I got!!

Play with pcsx2 0.9.6 at this part, than save and play again with the beta!! it will not hang!!

Now you guys could fix this bug in new betas, maybe!!

Personnaly, all my DVD are in iso format...quite reliable, more practical, easier storage and faster load. No problem of disc degradation or unreadeable
If it is a problem of doing the image of my DVD, then I need to find better tools...that's all.

For example through steam, they even don't send any CD. You download your game.

crazyquark mentioned "downloaded iso" and from what we all know,PS2 games don't work like steam,you download it,you've pirated it. Plus that toxic patcher everyone is talking about could be modifying copyrighted files (which it most probably is) so that one is illegal too.
