and noticed another sprite priority issue
you can see that tie fighter ships "come out" of black borders of screen
in pcsx 2 these ships appear on the black borders
they should be "under" black borders but they appear "above"

I hope that was understandable

Can you post a screenshot with the subtitles?
Can you post a video with the 1st level boss combination of buttons?

and try to reproduce it in PCSX2, only the first button (circle) will appear, not the next ones

I have the PSP version, looks almost identical. and these were coded at the same time, the differences are minor.

Another bug still on the same game

This time it's a sound bug, when Vader comes out of his ship on the begining of the game, he's supposed to talk with commander, and later he's supposed to talk with storm troopers as in the begining of this video (0:25)

but in PCSX2 there is no sound no dialogues, tested with all plugins

record it from pcsx2 and upload it somewhere (you'll have to combine the video and audio streams in movie maker)
