#1
Hello, and thanks for looking at it/ possibly helping.

#PCSX2 version: PCSX2 1.2.1 (r5875) and pcsx2-v1.2.1-598-gfd7b692-windows-x86
#Emulation options: Default (Reset)
#Plugins Used: Default (Reset) though unchecked speed hacks and also tested both software and hardware mode and DivX 9.
#Description: Freezes or crashes (it has done both) on loading screen at a certain spot. It is right after the scene in the top image, and freezes or crashes on the loading screen shown under it. I have tried enabling the skip videos cheat under cheats but the result is the same.

Below is the red text that appears:

TLB Miss is usually bad ISO or bad cheats. So disable all cheats and remake your ISO with Imgburn.

Edit: Whoo you beat me once. But only cuz I was busy PMing you.

Thank you for such quick replies and your time. However the new ISO didn't work either. Any other possible causes? Mind you I was still reloading the same save state right before the freeze if that has an effect. There is a long time between the point and the last place one can save to the memory card. It is after a war battle, and 3 boss type battles.

Well, if you are loading from a save state, it's likely never gonna go away. Save states save everything, including any potential glitches. So your only option at this point may be to reload from MC I'm afraid.

Did you have any cheats enabled? Since the TLB miss is [store] type, it suggests cheats more than ISO. If you did have cheats, any problems they caused would have been saved in the state.

Even without cheats though, it's possible some glitch got saved in the state. So it's gonna keep doing it if you keep loading the same state.

I didn't have any cheats that I know of, unless widescreen patch counts. I had speedhacks set to default, as apparently it defaults to them on. I press f4 a lot to make it go faster, but that is the closest thing to cheating I know (and the main benefit of playing suikoden on comp rather than ps2, even more so than graphics). Shall try it from last full save and see. It's a shame it chose such an inconvenient place. Oh and thanks again.

Well, a WS patch could in theory do it. They work the same way as cheats. So disable it for now just to be safe.

Thanks shall do, can pushing f4 do it also? As would be way faster to re-go through everything if I can.

Using F4 is fine. F4 only turns the frame limiter off. Everything is still emulated perfectly normally, just with the frame limiter off, so it goes as fast as your hardware allows.

Yeah, but couldn't that cause some slight timing issues?
