Ntsc ver works in the public beta r3113.
The biggest issue with it is the flickering on the intro, I'm pretty sure the interlace filter doesn't fix that.
It spams the log with something too when it happens.
Or it used to.., doesn't anymore.

It defently used to say something over and over when the intro was playing.
The game's timing is a tad picky too.
It's probably the VU cycle stealing hack.
If you have the game playing at full speed but it's still sluggish, trying disabling some of the speed hacks.
As for getting the game to start, it should...
At least in the public beta.
