RE: [Bug Report] The Simpsons Game [PAL]
Update.
Another issue.

Attachment 1- I've reached level 2, but do not think it was via GSDX Hardware, it was via GSDX Software. I'm just showing the graphics issues on level 2. The house is all black, and the characters are black, so, they're not visible at all except some objects and the door.

The issue I'm concerned is the switching between characters. Everytime I walk a few inches to the Left and press Right, Homer switches to Bart. I walk with Bart to the left, and he switches to Homer. And viceversa a zillion times. So, I can never reach for the door. And if I reach the door, which is a difficult goal, they go outside, switching permanently one with the other. So even if the graphics are fixed, the game goes again unplayable when you reach level 2 of the game.

My guess is this is a control pad issue. Apparently, Lilypad and SSSPSX PAD take the Digital PAD and the Analog Pad 1 as the same control when comes to binding.

Don't get me wrong, I've tried turning off "Binding axes to buttons" option. If I turn off binding axes to buttons and stuff, I can't use the buttons, 'cause the CROSS, CIRCLE, TRIANGLE and SQUARE are working as the Analog Pad 1, which is a Blink!!

Can you guys tell Lilypad if I can get a workaround fix for this issue?

Update.

Attachment 1: The graphics issue are not fixed yet, but I just wanted to say I've kinda solved the other issue, which was the switching between characters. I've configured the second analog pad to act as a first analog pad, and it does work. So now Bart and Homer won't switch while they walk.

RE: [Bug Report] The Simpsons Game [PAL]
Updatey!

Attachment 1: Console
Attachment 2: Memory reading
Attachment 3: Ingame Level 2

Today I opened pcsx2 thinking maybe things would change since I've been following gabest recent work through the TortoiseSVN messages, and... well, I have to say I'm surprised and that I totally like the changes!!
Yep! As you can see, the memory card read screen (picture 2), and also the menu, the pause menu, all that is now fixed and looking great!
Unfortunately, (picture 3), nothing happened to the ingame status, which is still the same as the other versions.
Either way, I liked what I've seen today. So, keep the good work!!

What?! Are you sure? 'cause the ingame graphics broken that I'm showing here, along with the revision program and plugin are r1277, so it can't be, you must be wrong about the revision number...

im not wrong, just you are attempting to use GSDX in hardware mode. your only choices are either ZeroGS or GSDX software mode

Yes, I know it's fixed through software mode, but it's somekind of slow, that's why my report about the hardware mode part.
ZeroGS now works with this game? I stopped trying because it was showing a weird rectangle that covered half the screen. I'll try again. Thanks for the info.

RE: [Bug Report] The Simpsons Game [PAL]
last time i tried simpsons on zerogs it looked pretty much the same as gsdx in terms of breakage, but that was due to the internals of pcsx2. However the majority of graphical fixes have been done from pcsx2, i realise hardware mode gsdx has some problems, so might be worth posting it in the gsdx thread of the plugins section, i will poke gabest about it as well.
