I didn't think this thread would still be open but i might as well use it since it is. I just thought i'd let you know that the broken shadow problem is back in the latest Git revision (v1.5.0-dev-1441). I haven't checked any of the previous revs, only had time to check 1.4.0 stable and shadows work properly, so i couldn't tell you exactly when it started. I just know that the problem happens in Opengl and D3D11 hardware mode with or without HW hacks enabled.

No. It only works in OpenGL if you set Blending Unit Accuracy to "Ultra".

I need to check. But I'm not sure your GPU can handle all accurate DATE actually.

Edit: smell like a regression. Debug on going.

Yeah, now the shadows work on both OpenGL and Direct3D(with Alpha Stencil hack).

That only leaves the original bug report. Tongue2
