Bug or Not ? I am playing Suikoden IV

At the moment I reach a point where I could recruit Taisuke on Suikoden IV. BUt it seems I cant talk with him no matter how close I get to him. I know that I shud talk with him first. Is this a bug from PCSX2 emulator or from the game ? 

Is there any other player can help me with this problem ?

In order to help you further with your problem, please make sure the following are all provided.
  • Your hardware specs - CPU, Graphics Card, Memory, Operating System.
  • The version of PCSX2 you are using.
  • Any non default settings you are using.
  • What games you are trying to play and if you are playing them from ISO or DVD.

well...

Here is the information as u mentioned aboved:

I am running PCSX2 1.4.0. I set all settings on default rite now. I am trying to play Suikoden IV (USA).iso 

If there is any way I can provide more information, I will gladly give it. Thanks in advance
