Burnout: Revenge Freezing when crashing vehicle
#1
This is really irritating,

What exactly i mean by crashing.

Is when i "crash into the wall with the car im using",

The game freezes,While i still have 60 fps?

Any ideas?

You don't need any speed hacks at 4,8 Ghz so disable them...

I turned them off,Getting 60 fps

When i record this game with fraps,Why does it lag? 30 fps

And the built in recorder on pcsx2 is just horrible,Makes my game go to like 2 fps lol

Depends what you use. I'm using the built in recorder with the x264vfw codec on lossless mode, the ultrafast preset and zero latency. This way most of my games run about 40 FPS while recording. I tested recording on an SSD and it was a solid 60 FPS so the bottleneck was the HDD not keeping up with the huge write rate.

Well, that answers some of my questions about recording+^_^+ TY Bositman
(also, isn't that hell on SSDs to write and rewrite on them constantly? mine only lasted 3 months before it just wouldn't write anymore, i was using it to clone drives a long time ago, very happy to be getting a 15k rpm drive soon+^_^+)

It's not worth buying an SSD just for recording,

Unless recording videos to you (general) is something huge and that's your only hobby,

This is the only game that lag's when i record with fraps ._.,Really strange
