CAN'T LAUNCH PCSX2 SOLVED AT LAST
#1
Thumbs Up
after wasting two days i finally figured it out, my problem was that PCSX2 won't launch after installation, even after shutting down DEP and re-installing visual c++.WackoWackoWacko
the whole problem was caused by my arabic location, and i solved it by going to control panel - region and language; open administrative tab and go to change system locale (change it to united states) it will need restart, but that was not enough, so next go to the same window and open location tab and change it to united states and open formats tab and change clock display format to english (united states) and bingo... BiggrinBiggrinBiggrin
now, was that a little mistake from software developers, may be, although i don't know why i find that hard to believe.GlareGlareGlare
anyway i want to thank forum members who tried their best to help.

deleting pcsx2\lang\ar would have been quicker, then.

It's a known problem and deleting/renaming the langs\ar folder is a solution Tongue

I think it is in the GIT builds, we adjusted it to be the UTF standard.
