CDVD plugin failed...

Yeah but I was able to get Super Mario Galaxy working at a playable speed when I tweaked the settings. So I was wondering if anyone knew how to get it to run faster.

But... is Super Mario Galaxy a PS2 game running in the PCSX2 emulator ?

And again...
PCSX2 settings? Plugin settings? What do the EE/GS% numbers in the game window say when you get slowdowns?

Ok, you're still missing the PCSX2 settings so just guessing right now all I can suggest is to try enabling some speedhacks and maybe setting the EE/VU clamp modes to 'none' and also try changing your VUs to superVU, oh and also don't forget to try the Direct3D10 (hardware) renderer in GSdx if available to you.

Since it seems you don't know much about the settings, I suggest you read the configuration guide:
