CPU plugin question...

just of my own curiosity, which is better? SSE41 or SSSE3? why?

SSE4.1 is better to use. Its not much of a diffrence. SSE4.1 is just a new set of instrutions for the cpu. As far as I know the only diffrence how ever minor is that SSE4.1 might offer a little more speed, and it wont be gamebreaking if your stuck with SSSE3 or even SSE2.

MOB: Asus P5QL
RAM: Crucial 4Gb
OS: Windows 7 64bit/XP 32bit

Every SSE4.1 CPU also supports the (few) SSSE3 instructions.

see thats the thing that gets me though. is i CAN use SSSE3, but both teh other people in my house, (one of whom has a much better CPU), cant.

They might have amd cpus which dont support SSSE3 or SSE4.1.
