Can some explain to me why I'm only getting 42FPS, while recording and im using EE 29%, GS, 30% and VU 29%? When I'm not recording those number a little bit higher yet I get a constant 50FPS (PAL)

Your system specs are? If I properly set affinity to FRAPS and PCSX2 I can record with no slowdown, if not, depending on the game, thread clashing happens(much more on SW than on HW mode) which causes your issue.

If none of EE, GS, VU are near 100% the usual culprit is the video card.

If HT is on try again with FRAPS just on thread 6 & 7 (core 3) or just thread 7, with PCSX2 on the rest, make sure the appropriate threads are set if you are using SW mode. If HT is off then FRAPS to core 3 only, PCSX2 on the rest. Also try with MTVU off if it looks like you some how have inevitable thread clashing.

You won't get full speed while recording. I can't get full speed while recording in games normally running at 130 FPS. I presume it's the disk IO but not sure why yet...although I'm recoding at 1920x1080

Mine are capped at 50 so none of mine go beyond that. Its not really 1080p since one my monitor is only 1600x1050 and two because im using native

My suspicions would typically be the opposite...

Do you actually need MTVU enabled...?
