Can't get PCSX2 to launch
#1
I've used PCSX2 on quite a few computers before. None of them have experienced this issue. When I try to launch PCSX2, I get an error about not having MSVCP140.dll installed. I do have it installed. I've installed and reinstalled Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2017, as well as run SFC from PowerShell with no errors. The file is plainly located in my System32 folder. When I copy the file from System32 into my PCSX2's directory, the error changes to "The application was unable to start correctly (0xc000007b). Click OK to close the application." My antivirus has PCSX2 listed as a trusted application and running as administrator has no effect. PCSX2 is installed on my Windows drive but not in my Program Files directory. Any ideas?

Windows 10 Pro (Creator's Update)
Intel i7-3770k
Nvidia GeForce 1060 6gb
PCSX2 revision 66a87ce (latest)

The Visual Studio 2017 version listed on this page.

One custom thing about my setup that may or may not have relevance: When initially setting up this computer, I used a Sysprep unattended answer file to move my Users directory to another drive.

Looks like you need the x86 version.
You only installed the x64 version
CPU : AMD Ryzen 7 3800X
Mobo : Asus PRIME B450-PLUS
GPU : NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070
RAM : 16 Go

You also don't want the Visual Studio 2017 one, you need the 2015 runtimes, get the x86 versions from here https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download...x?id=48145

Aha! Good call, @jesalvein. Visual Studio 2017 doesn't have a redistributable x86 file. I had to find the correct file in the 2015 version, here: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download...x?id=53840
