Can't play Ape Escape - Pumped and Primed on PCSX2 1.0.0
#1
So, it seems that I can't boot AE-PAP on PCSX2 correctly. It just crashed at this screen (with background music still playing):

Does anyone has the same problem? Or is my emu's just misconfigured?
My current configurations:

SpeedHack

Components Selector [Plugins Tab]

GS Settings

That's my config.
Feel free to ask me for more screenshots.
Any help will be appreciated Smile

Eliminate all speedhacks and try Software mode (F9) to see if you can get past that part.

There are a few notes in the compatibility section that may help. Try here:

I think it was broken in the release, grab the latest SVN build from here: http://pcsx2.net/download/development/svn.html

What's SVN? And what's broken? I've tried many games befor and it runs well without or with slowdowns.

SVN standard for "Sub Version", which is a program/development style.

Long story short on that, it means development builds. You can get them here: http://buildbot.orphis.net/pcsx2/

Generally speaking, development builds are for testing out the latest features, literally the day they are added. This sometimes leads to regressions (old bugs that were fixed coming back) or possible instability. That said, in some instances, it's the only way to be able to play certain games "now" instead of waiting for the next main release.

So how do I put them?

Same way you do the main version. You download it, unzip it, configure it, then run it.

This is the folder I've unzipped:

Which file should I run?
I already clicked pcsx2.exe and pcsx2-5722 but it leads to this window:

yes, you will need to configure pcsx2 again, since a portable.ini file comes by default with an SVN.
not much of a hassle if you ask me.
