Can't play Socom II
#1
When I start the game all I get is "SPR MFIFO Write outside MFIFO area"

Only thing I found about it was that it would be fixed in 0.9.8 and it wasn't fixed. On the list of compatible games for PCSX2 it says its playable with 0.9.9, but that isn't officially out yet. I downloaded the unofficial 0.9.9 that I could find and I still have the problem.

What is the work around for this because as far as I can tell a lot of people are having no problem with this game.

its a CD/DVD plugin issue.
this happened to me.
unmount and use ISO option, maybe even an ISO cd/dvd plugin.
but it says write outside area, so its the "cd". If its not an ISO then
make it one. Hope this helps!!

I was using an .iso file and launching it from PCSX2, never mounted it or anything so I don't know what the exact problem was...

I found a later svn PCSX2 and ran it with that and the game runs fine now though.
