Can you recommend a rig for PCSX2?

Thinking of getting a new computer, specifically these listed below

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0111MU5ZA/ref...B01HNBLHAA

I would like a bigger hard drive possibly a 2 TB but otherwise does this look acceptable especially for the cost? Thanks for the help

Can you put together a pc? You'll be able to get way better components for the same price.

Alright, I have to leave for a bit, but I'll see what kind of builds I can find when I get back.

There are a few possible refurbished options, but ignoring those, this was the best one I could find.

It's not a regular tower, but it's got much better specs, especially for pcsx2. AMD makes good budget CPUs for regular pc gaming, but for emulation you really want to go intel.

There's also this one. It has a better GPU, but it's more expensive, and it might be a little slower for pcsx2.

Thanks for the info, I currently have a dual core 2.5 GHz Intel and the emulator only gets about 15 frames per second on certain games. Would I see that much of it performance boost over what I have now I only have a GeForce 8400 video card as well. The i3 portion kind of scares me

Depending on the age of your CPU, you will probably see a massive gain, judging by your geforce 8400, I would guess it's a core 2 duo? in which case you should see some very nice gains, especially with the i5

The i3 itself is capable if the video card is. I ran with an I3 for a few years, before that system died of mobo failure. I was seeing 1800 stp out of a i3 3420..
