Linuz ISO CDVD plugin is a tad bit more compatible then the built in iso loader.
I have to use it on one game, The Bouncer (Pal).
Otherwise I use the built in loader for everything else.

Lilkey because the rip came from some crappy program or something I dn.
I'll make my own iso later on.

If you're gonna make an iso I reccomend using the dvd decryptor (old...), with most the decryption options off and auto update off.
You don't wanna mess around trying to remove macrovision and decrypt it or anything like that.
(I'de work fine though if you tried, not like it's gonna do anything but...)

Just dump the iso and del the mds file and there you go.

As for burning them, do whatever.
I'de keep the iso and burn that instead of making a ps2 disk.
Data integrety wise.

If you're into collecting... try to write down the disk id's of each game you dump yourself.
Case and disk id's, someitmes they differ.
(Like xenosaga 2 us-ntsc, case id is for a 8gig 1disk ver that never came out).

That way you know exactly what you have and if you ever come across the same game with a diff id, well grab it if you want...

I believe it's possible to fool the real ps2 into making a copy readable without a mod with a custom format but I never got to test that theory before I gave the ps2 away.
Pretty sure it can read video dvd's with data on them.
But that's offtopic though...
