Congrats on 95% compatibility! What's next?

95% compatibility is awesome!  But what direction is the PCSX2 team going to go in once it reaches 100%?

Are they going to keep going and try to refine the code by fixing bugs or improving performance? Are they going to start PS3 emulation? something else?

It's an exciting time! Smile

An emulator of this era will never reach 100% Wink we will likely just stop before then, we're all getting old!

95% of the games boot up. It doesn't mean they're fully playable or without bugs. There's a lot of work left.

So the goal is to make them fully playable and bug-free?  Great!  That's what I wanted to know. Biggrin

Time to teach your kids and grandkids the wonders of PCSX2 and the code behind it? Wink

Or maybe just replaced by new generations xD
Some others will carry the torch.

Well these few years there's been a lot of progress made.

Exclusive fullscreen, 3D Vision and custom textures are the visual (and performance, in the case of fullscreen) enhancements I wish the most. Once PCSX2 has all that, my life will be complete (not literally. I won't die until I complete the Pokédex).

EE overclocking is already a gift from the PCSX2 gods Tongue2.

VR support might be interesting.  Would that be possible?

Damn, you guys are setting the bar really high. haha

First let's hope for bug fixes, more able developers joining the effort and new technologies and/or additional ps2 architecture info that makes it possible for the pcsx2 to improve more. Then we could consider stuff like VR. Tongue2
