can't progress on the game because the character can't climb the garbage

Ok, so here's the deal with the dumpster:
The dumpster cannot be climbed with the default settings.
to climb it I found the following setting solved the problem:
EE/FPU Advanced Recompile Options set to positive
Note: You must restart the level after changing the settings for this to work from every edge of the dumpster.
BUT if you apply this setting without restarting the level then you can climb the dumpster from the right side ONLY.
The draw distance is bugged in both normal world and hell.
