Controller problem on jap games

ok i'm using PCSX2 1.0.0, got a ps2 to pc usb decive to plug my ps2 pad to the pc, setup my pad to work with US games, but when i try Jap games, only the X, O & start buttons works, every other buttons just don't seem to work, can anyone help with this problem i'm having?

which games ?
did you try fast boot instead of full boot ?

FF12 international is one of the games, and some random jap games
and i have tried full boot and fast boot, both ways i have the same problem

oh and using the keyboard works for the controls, but the ps2 pad don't work, i really don't want to be playing games on the keyboard...

btw all the US games i've tried, the pad works just fine

after trying many things, i think i figured what was wrong, i just cleared all bindings and rebind afew times, and it seems to be working now
