Controls not working in Yugioh Duelist of the Roses

The game loads and plays fine, no low fps or anything. I have the controls bound by the keyboard in both pads. I tried both lilypad and SSSPSX and neither work. Any suggestions?

Are you sure you're using the D-pad configuration and not the analog stick? I'm pretty sure this game is controlled through D-pad.
