Core 2 duo support?
#1
Hey there ive had some questions that i had for pcsx2:

In the settings i see alot things that increases stuf if you have a Dual core processor. I have a Core 2 duo T5800 2,0 GHZ is that the same?
I have heard that core 2 duo is some improved dual core?

The rest of my specs are:

Nvidia gforce 9600m GT 512 MB
4 gig of RAM
Im running Vista home premium 64 bit.

How good are these specs for PCSX2?

Thx in advance!Laugh

2.0Ghz is enough for some games (especially 2D), but too weak for games like Tekken5, FF12, GoW, etc..

support or not is "orz" question

if CPU have not SSE2 you don't run pcsx2 because SSE2 is basic for new beta ver. pcsx2

Core2 is fast more than P4 ....
P4 2.2 too slow ....
so... this not "2.2 is enough" "Core2 2.2 is enough"

I gues my post wasn't clear to some. I have an E2200 it's an intel dual core, it was my assumption that it would be understood and not thought single core

well i hope with future releases it gets better. i can run ssse3 but not 4, well i hope you can add my cpu to the support for 4 cause my cpu doesnt support it. That is what it says anyway.
