Crash issue
#1
Hello,
I tried running both Shin Megami Tensei: Nocturne and Persona 4.
Both run beautifully, but it crashes very quickly.
I post in hope there is an obvious reason to that! Smile
Can anyone help me?

Here is my log:

All main settings were default except for the MTVU option I checked as I have a 4 core processor.

The GSD plugin is as follow:
adapter: Default Hardware Device
Renderer: Direct3d11 (Hardware)
interlacing: Auto
scaling: 3x native

rest is default.

SPU-X settings:
interpolation: 3- Hermite
Module XAudio 2

I'm using a f710 controller, also. In case, that could be the problem. But it works perfectly fine.
Just tell me if I should post other crucial settings.

I will do so, as soon as it occurs again.
I unchecked MTVU. It seems to run fine, at the moment.
If it can be of any use, I can set it back on. Just let me know.

Random crashes out of the blue while the game was running perfectly? True switching SPU-X Module from Xaudio2 to Directsound. I know there was/is a bug in xaudio2 that caused random crash I dont know if it was ever fixed

Persona 4 has been running flawlessly for half an hour now, after switching off MTVU.
If it crashes again, I will try your suggestion with SPU-X, after posting an emulog.
I will confirm after a couple of hours, if it's stable.

I'm completely dragged into my TV with this game...(pun intended, for those who know the game Smile )

Yes, thank you for the tips, guys!
I have switched to DirectSound earlier just to check and it sounds very good to me.
There has been any crash and game plays amazing in HD. Game sounds perfect to me.

Gameplay is much better with your help! Laugh
