Crashes when opening settings and no dmp file
#1
Hello, I have an issue which also led to a confusion as well. I just downloaded the latest nightly build, and tried opening the settings and it crashes whenever I try opening the settings.
I am on Windows 10, PSCX2 version 1.7.5645.

My confusion is I can't figure out how to generate "dmp" files, as well as where these are located if/when they generate. I searched these forums and couldn't find anyone with this question. I searched "dmp how" "dump how" etc. I also searched the entire directory for "dmp" in File Explorer and there were no results.

So, in summary, my two issues are:
-Crashes when I try to open settings
-Cannot find dmp file

I would greatly appreciate anyone's help!!

Make sure you got all the requirements installed ie: Your windows 10 patch levels must fairly up to date. The dmp file should be created in whatever folder pcsx2 runs from

Try portable install: create portable.ini file in the pcsx2 root folder.
Make sure your graphics drivers are up to date and make sure you don't have C:\Windows\USB_Vibration folder.

The previous times we've had this it's because of an out of date iGPU driver (amd or intel), I would recommend making sure yours is up to date from the official website, not through windows update.
